Manganese Metal, Electrolytic, Flakes & Lump

Electrolytic Manganese metal was first produced in the 1940’s.  Since the late 1960’s, typical Manganese metal has a Manganese content of 93% to 99%.  The main producers of Manganese metal are China, South Africa, and France.  It is mainly used as a hardener for alloys and steel.  One of the main applications is in the Aluminum production for can making. Manganese metal comes in several forms: Electrolitic, Flakes, and Lumps.
